The South Carolina Aquarium has always been a teacher friendly organization. Before the Aquarium opened its doors in May 2000, teachers came together (1998) to help us plan to serve the teachers and students of South Carolina. The Aquarium’s Education Master Plan was created with teacher’s help and culminated in what is our free Structured School Programs (SSP) and award winning online curriculum.

We still strive every day to be the best educators we can be and that includes getting teacher/educator feedback. Please contact us if you have questions about our programs, our online curriculum or if a student asks you a marine related question you need help with. We are here to help!
